Israel Launches Massive Strikes On Yemen’s Sanaa, Keeps Pounding Gaza City

Israel’s relentless aggression escalates in Yemen and Gaza, targeting civilians

Israel’s military unleashed a barrage of air strikes on Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, hitting critical civilian infrastructure, including power plants and an area near the presidential palace, while simultaneously intensifying its brutal genocide in Gaza City.

The strikes on Sanaa, involving over 30 munitions, killed at least two people and wounded five, according to Houthi-affiliated media, with footage showing fires engulfing the Haziz power station.

In Gaza, Israeli attacks killed over 30 Palestinians in a single day, including children and aid seekers, as part of a plan to seize Gaza City and ethnically cleanse its population south.

Major Israeli Airstrikes On Yemen

In Sanaa, Israel’s air force deployed a dozen planes and refuellers to strike what it called Houthi “military infrastructure,” including the unstaffed presidential palace and power plants.

Houthi sources condemned the attacks as war crimes, noting that densely populated residential areas and a civilian fuel station were hit.

As reported by Al Jazeera, Senior Houthi political figure Nasruddin Amer said:

Targeting a civilian fuel station on a main street will certainly have no impact on military operations; rather, it reveals the brutality and bankruptcy of the Israeli enemy and will bring upon itself further escalation.

The strikes followed a Houthi missile and drone attack on Tel Aviv and Ashkelon, which Israel claimed involved a cluster warhead missile.

Gaza City Under Siege, Humanitarian Crisis Deepens

In Gaza City, Israel’s relentless bombardment has overwhelmed rescue services, with Gaza’s Civil Defence conducting 41 operations in 24 hours to extinguish fires and rescue victims.

The director of al-Shifa Hospital, Mohammed Abu Salmiya, warned: “The occupation’s threats to invade Gaza City will lead to massacres against the population.”

With 1.2 million residents at risk, the hospital struggles to handle waves of wounded, starving, and sick Palestinians.

Israel’s actions, including attacks on homes and displacement tents, have pushed Gaza’s health system to the brink, urging international action to stop the genocide and famine.
