Young Man Starves to Death in Besieged Gaza As Israeli Attacks Kill Dozens

Gaza's humanitarian crisis deepens amid Israeli bombardment and aid blockades

Naffah

A young man from Rafah has died from starvation, as reported by Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, highlighting the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The Gaza Health Ministry noted 154 hunger-related deaths since October 7, 2023, with 89 children among the victims.

Israel’s ongoing blockade has severely restricted food supplies, forcing desperate residents to loot scarce aid trucks.

Israeli Assaults Intensify

Israeli attacks killed at least 34 Palestinians on Thursday, including 15 aid seekers, worsening the already catastrophic situation.

The total death toll since October 7, 2023, stands at 60,249, with 147,089 injured, according to the Health Ministry.

Israel’s restrictions and displacement orders have disrupted aid distribution, leaving families struggling to survive amid relentless bombardment.

International Condemnation Grows

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot labeled the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation’s aid system a “scandal” and called for its cessation, citing a “bloodbath” during distributions.

UNRWA’s Adnan Abu Hasna emphasized that only a ceasefire can address the crisis, noting malnutrition’s impact on newborns and the destruction of desalination plants.

Israel’s detention of medical personnel, including doctor Marwan al-Hams, has drawn accusations of “enforced disappearance” from Palestinian authorities.
