At least 58 Palestinians were killed in the past 24 hours across Gaza, including 22 civilians seeking food aid, according to the enclave's Health Ministry. Four more bodies were recovered from rubble in Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighborhood, where Israeli airstrikes flattened a residential building, killing eight people. The death toll since October 2023 now exceeds 61,776, with over 154,906 wounded, most being women and children. Starvation claimed four additional lives, raising famine-related fatalities to 239, including 106 children.

Aid System Fuels Massacres Amid Blockade

The U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid distribution points have become killing fields, with 1,881 Palestinians slain and 13,863 injured while attempting to access food since May. Natasha Davies of Doctors Without Borders condemned the GHF model as "slaughter masquerading as aid," noting that Israel continues to block land-based aid convoys despite warehouses brimming with supplies near Gaza’s borders. Hospitals report collapsing medical staff and critically malnourished blood donors, while temperatures exceeding 40°C worsen dehydration crises.

West Bank Annexation Accelerates

Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced plans to construct 3,000+ settlement units in the E1 corridor east of Jerusalem, a move explicitly designed to "bury the idea of a Palestinian state" by severing the West Bank from East Jerusalem. This expansion would formalize apartheid, destroying territorial continuity for a future Palestinian state. In Gaza City, displaced widow Walaa Sobh described evacuation orders as death sentences: "We have nowhere to go. If they force us out, at least give us tents".

Global Condemnation Mounts as Genocide Case Advances

Qatar condemned Netanyahu’s "Greater Israel" remarks as violations of international law, while UN experts warned Gaza faces "medicide" through targeted attacks on healthcare workers and hospitals. The International Criminal Court maintains arrest warrants for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes, as South Africa’s genocide case advances at the ICJ. Despite global protests, Western arms transfers to Israel continue, enabling what UNRWA calls "the war on childhood".
