Today, the Israeli Army threatened thousands of Palestinian civilians, ordering them to evacuate "immediately" following a heavy wave of Israeli airstrikes that claimed the lives of 404 Palestinians and injured around 500 others. The airstrikes have been described by many observers and human rights activists as barbaric and inhumane. Furthermore, the airstrikes targeted public facilities, residential buildings, and schools, making them "death traps," according to Al-Jazeera field reporter Hani Mahmoud.
“Let’s not forget that many Palestinians are still staying in evacuation centers because their homes are either destroyed or located in an area that the Israeli military is still occupying,”

Reportedly Avichay Adraee, the Arabic-language spokesperson for the Israeli Army, issued an official statement in which he made a dire warning to the civilians residing in several neighborhoods. Specifically, he identified the areas of Beit Hannon, Khirbet Khuza’a, Abasan al-Kabira, and Abasan al-Jadida as being at risk of imminent military action, urging the residents to evacuate immediately. In his statement, Adraee also directed the civilians living in these targeted areas to move to designated shelters, including schools, located in the western parts of Gaza City or in the city of Khan Younis
The recent military actions committed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip have brought an immediate halt to a fragile two-month ceasefire and disturbed the peace of the Palestinian population of Gaza during the holy month of Ramadan.
