In response to a wave of violent incidents aimed at Tesla, the FBI has announced the creation of a dedicated task force. This decision follows the discovery of an incendiary device at a Tesla showroom in Austin, Texas, which has drawn attention to a series of attacks labeled as "domestic terrorism" by FBI Director Kash Patel.

The newly formed task force consists of ten agents who will investigate vandalism and other violent actions against Tesla properties. This initiative reflects heightened concerns over public safety associated with the company's operations and the significant backlash against CEO Elon Musk's controversial decisions. Patel stated, “We will pursue those responsible for these acts and ensure they face justice.”

The Austin police reported finding multiple incendiary devices at the dealership, prompting a response from the local bomb squad, which safely handled the situation. No injuries were linked to this incident.

Additionally, the FBI is keeping a close watch on upcoming protests against Tesla, including a major event planned for March 29. Authorities have advised Tesla owners to remain cautious as the task force collaborates with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to address these violent occurrences effectively.
