Public filings under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) have shed new light on the extent of Israeli government influence operations inside the United States. The filings reveal that a growing number of American social media influencers are being paid under Israel’s Foreign Ministry–funded “Esther Project,” a $150 million global PR initiative aimed at shaping international opinion, with a significant portion directed at U.S. audiences.
Through firms such as Havas Media Group and the U.S.-based Clock Tower Group, influencers are recruited, trained, and compensated to publish coordinated pro-Israel content across TikTok, Instagram, and X. According to the filings, influencers can earn as much as $7,000 per post, with additional production and development costs covered by the program.
The initiative’s reach was on display during a series of high-profile influencer gatherings in 2025. In August, Zionist billionaire Bill Ackman hosted a summit at his Long Island mansion, where the late Charlie Kirk reportedly clashed with attendees over what was perceived as his wavering loyalty to the pro-Israel line. Influencers including Cam Higby and Xaviaer DuRousseau later joined a trip to Gaza funded by the Israel365 Foundation, itself backed by Israel’s Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.
During that trip, the influencers visited Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) distribution sites, posting content designed to refute reports that Palestinians, including children, were being starved or shot by Israeli soldiers. Soon after, many of the same figures attended an off-the-record meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where strategies for reversing Israel’s declining popularity among young Americans were discussed.
Cross-referencing the events with FARA filings revealed a clear overlap between government funding and influencer activity. Among those named in the filings or tied to program events are:
