Gaza’s Government Media Office has accused Israel of committing “a horrific, intentionally repeated crime” by luring starving Palestinians to aid distribution centers and killing 102 civilians over the past eight days.
The latest incident in Rafah, southern Gaza, claimed 27 lives and injured over 90 people, according to the enclave’s Health Ministry.
The media office stated“
The so-called ‘aid’ distribution centres, which are located in exposed and dangerous red zones under the control of the occupation army, have turned into mass bloodbaths, luring starving civilians to them as a result of the crippling famine and the tightening siege.

Hamas reported that Israeli forces opened fire on civilians awaiting aid at a Rafah distribution point, describing the mechanism as one that “degrades human dignity turned food-seeking into a deadly risk that could cost one’s life.”
The group urged the United Nations to intervene, demanding the opening of humanitarian corridors under international oversight, free from Israeli control.
The UN and international community have opposed Israel’s plan to establish four aid distribution points in southern and central Gaza, which, according to Israel’s Army Radio, aims to evacuate Palestinians from northern Gaza to render it a “completely depopulated area.”
Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza has resulted in at least 54,510 Palestinian deaths and 124,901 injuries, per Gaza’s Health Ministry.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes, while Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.
Amid warnings of famine for Gaza’s 2 million residents, the Gaza Media Office called on the UN and human rights organizations to act urgently to open official crossings without Israeli interference, stating, “they are then deliberately and coldly shot, in a scene that epitomises the malice of the project and exposes its true objectives.”
